Fundraising and Events
Annual fundraising events include a Sweets Sale at Valentine's Day, a Gently Used Book Sale in early August, and a Silent Auction held in mid-October.
We've also held special fundraisers like a puppet sale to benefit the Children's Room, and an on-going tote bag sale. The donations over the years have helped purchase large print books, videos for the visually impaired, lobby furniture, silk plants and trees, out of town newspaper subscriptions, audio books, display racks, new reference books, a public access computer and workstation, an information kiosk and refreshments for guest speaker events.
